The Day of Unification of Ukraine in Uzhgorod was celebrated with a march with a 100-meter-long flag. The celebrations began on Narodna Square, where, to the singing of the Transcarpathian Folk Choir, officials traditionally laid flowers at the monument to Taras Shevchenko and a huge flag was unfurled. From there, accompanied by a brass band, the flag was carried through the streets of Uzhgorod.
