The Cabinet do not know whether they have money for the indexation of salaries and pensions

The Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk supports the idea of indexing wages and pensions, but he said that it takes financial resources.

He said that at the presentation of the Plan of legislative support of reform in Kyiv on Monday, the "Interfax-Ukraine" reported.
"Let me remind you that the coalition decided to index monetary income of citizens on December 1. We are ready for this indexation. I am most interested in moving the indexation for earlier date" – Yatsenyuk said.

"But we have to find resources for that. To do this, we will meet with the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Social Policy, the relevant committee and openly say: do we have today enough revenues to index monetary income of citizens?" – the Prime Minister added.
Previously, a number of parliamentary factions, including those from the coalition, called on the government to index wages and pensions.
