The body of a Transcarpathian Oleg Koval, who was killed in the battles near Debaltseve, has been identified…

This was reported on facebook by journalist Pavlo Fedaka.

"In March, when I was taking the body of major of the 128th Brigade Vitaly Postolaki from Dnipropetrovsk Bureau of Forensic Medicine, I heard a sad news that the mother of a Chop soldier Oleg Koval for several days had been trying to find the body of her killed son. The poor woman did not find then the mangled remains of her son.

On the day of my departure to Uzhgorod, 152 fallen heroes, whose bodies had not been identified, were buried. The hard work for identification of victims by DNA analysis began.
Today, Uzhgorod military commissar Mykola Zhuravlyov called and said that the body of Oleg Koval had been identified," – Pavlo wrote.

Recall that the news of the death of Oleg Koval from the most western city of Ukraine – Chop – stirred Transcarpathia on February 16. Then it was said that the Transcarpathian soldier would be buried in Cherkasy region, and in Chop, there will be a requiem… However, unfortunately, the body of Oleg was not identified in time… And only now, the hero will find eternal rest in his native land.
