The award found its hero

Recently I had an incredibly pleasant mission – I visited Germany to personally present the award of the Honorary Citizen of Uzhgorod to Lev Lutsker.

Lev Lutsker is a native of Russian Vologda, but few people can be called true Uzhgorod residents with the same confidence as him.

Difficult life situtation made him move to Germany, but in his heart he remained a resident of Uzhgorod. Lev Lutsker is always interested in the life of our city, keeps in touch with his many friends. This was informed by Andriy Ryba on his page.

In addition, Andriy Ryba had a personal reason to be happy about the occasion, because he studied with Lev Lutsker’s son

"I studied with Lev Lutsker’s son (Vitali Lutsker) and we were best friends, so I was lucky enough to know Mr. Lutsker since I was a child.

Also, we cannot but to mention his huge contribution to the cultural, secular, educational life of Uzhgorod. Lev Lutsker worked in so many areas. It is difficult to even list everything that he did. His contribution cannot be overestimated."

Recall that the City Council deputies supported the request on awarding the title of "Honorary Citizen of Uzhgorod" to Lev Lutsker – known theatrical figure, teacher, founder of the KVN movement in Uzhgorod and Transcarpathia.

Lev Lutsker now lives in Germany.
