As previously reported, near the Hungarian city of Nyíregyháza, an aircraft transporting illegal immigrants to the country was found. The An-2 plane, which illegally entered the Hungarian air space to transport illegal migrants from Ukraine, is now being dismantled for transportation to the airport of Nyíregyháza.
The district police spokesperson, Rita Fedir, said that a local law enforcement officer reported about an unknown, low-flying plane. The search measures were taken immediately. The aircraft was found on the territory of a farm, and eight migrants, citizens of Vietnam were found in the courtyard of a church. Soon, another three foreigners, Afghan citizens, were detained in a bus.
According to the spokesperson of the police, the AN-2 is registered in Ukraine. The pilot is still being wanted.
As it turned out, such AN-2 can be bought in Ukraine for 10-12 thousand dollars. The aircraft registration number is UR-68105. However, it was not to be found in the register of aircrafts of Ukraine.
The only thing that is known now, according to the spokesman of the State Border Guard Service, is that the plane belongs to a resident of Avdiyivka, Donetsk region. Ukrainian border guards could not stop the plane, because they have no means that can stop an aircraft crossing the airspace of Ukraine.
