Svitlana Korol became the Secretary of the City Council

One of the most significant issues of today’s meeting of the session was the election of the Secretary of the City Council.

Svitlana Korol is one of the key members of the mayor’s team, immediately after the election she was appointed as the chief of the financial department of the City Council, and later became the deputy mayor. Victor Pogorelov proposed her candidacy even at the last session of the city council.

Faction "Batkivshchyna" refused to participate in the elections of the city council secretary. In total, 46 deputies voted.

35 deputies voted "for", 9 – "against", 2 – abstained.

Svitlana Korol thanked for their trust and said: "Despite the fact that not all supported my nomination, I hope for fruitful cooperation with all members."
