Subventions for infrastructure formation: Transcarpathia is the most active

The united communities of Transcarpathian region, which submitted projects for 100% of the subvention amount, are the most active.

The funds will be used for the development of the infrastructure of the united communities established in 2015-2016.

While in 2016, UAH 15,075 thousand was allocated from the state budget to the local budget for the formation of Tyachiv and Vilkhivtsi united communities (UAH 7095.7 thousand for Tyachiv and 7979.3 – for Vilkhivtsi), in 2017 the united communities of Transcarpathian region will receive: UAH 4806,7 thousand – Tyachiv, 5408,9 – Vilkhivtsi, 4336,2 – Polyana united communities amounting in total to UAH 14,551.8 thousand.

To date, 5 territorial communities have already been formed in Transcarpathia: Vilkhivtsi, Irshava, Perechyn, Polyana, Tyachiv.

Subventions for the formation of the infrastructure of a united territorial community belonging to communal property may be obtained for the purpose of new construction, reconstruction, overhaul of streets, roads, bridges; construction, reconstruction, repair and maintenance of roads of local importance, streets and roads of communal property in settlements, as well as for major and current repair of streets and roads in settlements and other roads which are parts of highways of national importance; development of design, urban planning documentation; improvement of the quality of administrative services; procurement of vehicles for the transportation of children to educational institutions, special purpose vehicles and accessories for them for communal enterprises, fire and special rescue equipment, specialized vehicles for medical institutions; new construction, reconstruction, overhaul of water supply and wastewater facilities, waste management facilities and reclamation of landfills, etc.

The provision of subventions from the state budget to local budgets for the formation of the infrastructure of united territorial communities is regulated by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine Order No. 200 of March 16, 2016.
