Streets of the Maidan and the Heaven’s Hundred: what are your suggestions?

At today’s session of Uzhgorod City Council, they also talked about the need for public discussion regarding renaming of streets or squares.

Victor Shchadey, the Secretary of the City Council, the acting mayor, made a suggestion that deputies should ask Uzhgorod residents to sent their ideas about which streets or squares in Uzhgorod can be renamed in honor of the Heroes of the Maidan and the Heaven’s Hundred.

Also they talked about the possible establishment of the memorial in honor of the heroes of the revolution in the regional center. The location of the memorial is also planned to be determined in the public discussion: the announcement about the collection of proposals on streets and squares, which can be renamed, as well as about the determination of the location of the future memorial will be published in the municipal newspaper "Uzhgorod".
