The Ukrposhta has put in circulation a postage stamp "Mikhail Vrubel. The girl on the background of a Persian carpet.1886." The stamp depicts the well-known painting by the symbolist artist Mikhail Vrubel, the website of the Ukrposhta PJSC informs. One of the best works of the Kyiv period of the master’s art is the highlight of the national museum "Kyiv Art Gallery". Mikhail Vrubel painted the work "The girl on the background of a persian carpet" in 1886. The painting became a jewel of the Tereshchenko family art collection.
The quantity of issued stamps "Mikhail Vrubel. The girl on the background of a Persian carpet.1886" is 130 thousand copies, their face value is 5 UAH.

Also, the Ukrposhta is preparing for the release the postage block "Mikhail Vrubel. 1856-1910".
