Children at the Medical and Social Rehabilitation Center "Way of Life" were preparing to the arrival of St. Nicholas in advance. The wards learned poems and songs to adequately greet the favourite saint of children and adults.
The holiday began with a performance, which was prepared by the pupils of Uzhgorod Children’s Arts School. And then the children of the Center showed their talents.
But the main event was the arrival of St. Nicholas, who came not alone, but with representatives of Uzhgorod authorities – deputy mayors Igor Fartushok and Vasyl Homonay. The three of them distributed gifts.
The head of the Center, Oleg Kyrylenko, congratulated those present on New Year and Christmas holidays and thanked the city authorities for their support, noting that it is extremely important both for the wards the employees of the "Way of Life" who take care of special children on a daily basis.
