Space cafe "Gagarin and Bokorash" opened in the village of Kvasy in Rakhiv district. The owners say that the name was chosen not randobly, they say, there is even a legend. After declassification of KGB files in 1999, the information about the friendship between the world’s first cosmonaut Yuri Gagarin and a Hutsul rafter became known. This story happened in 1966, when Gagarin visited the mountain village. So the original restaurant decided to perpetuate this friendship in… space dishes. They combine the technology of space dishes and the taste of Hutsul ones. There is Olivier salad and stuffed cabage… in a tube. Also, "Calf from Gagarin," soup "Bokorash", salad "Black Tisa". The owners say they searched for ancient Hutsul recipes in the archives to give them a new life. There are also space Transcarpathian cocktails in the menu such as "Rocket Fuel", "Gagarin and Bokorash."
