On Thursday, April 29, the Acting Head of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration Mykhailo Rivis together with the head of the district Vasyl Yovdiy inspected the repaired road in Solotvyno of Tyachiv district.
Recall that the issue of the road repair was raised by villagers at the meeting with the head of the region Vasyl Hubal. Then, together with the district and village councils they developed the funding mechanism and, without any further delay, started working. Nearly 1.5 kilometer of the road now has a new solid surface – it was made before Easter. Now, the last works on the sidewalks are being completed. The repair estimate was about 1,600,000 UAH.
According to Vasyl Yovdiy, this road was a problem for residents of Solotvyno for more than twenty years – despite the fact that it is a major one, it was hardly ever repaired. About nine hundred people live in this neighborhood, and every day they would suffer from pits on the road.
By the way, there is a working group now in Solotvyno, that tries to solve other pressing problems of the settlement, namely with gas and water supply.
