On December 1, in the Transcarpathian Regional Art Museum, the Society of Hungarian Artists Transcarpathia named after Imre Revesz will traditionally sum up the year with an exhibition.
Members of the society – and those are more than 20 talented and original artists from around the region (Uzhgorod, Mukachevo, Beregovo districts) – will present their achievements in various forms, genres, styles of art. The exhibition is dedicated to the memory of Laszlo Magyar – former chairman of the Society, member of the Hungarian Academy of Fine Arts, renowned artist and social activist who died in July this year…
The works of Laszlo Magyar will comprise a significant part of the selection.
In addition, during the exhibition, the artists’ works will be rated by honorable jury to award the best ones with I.Revesz Prize founded last year with the assistance of the KMKS and the Consulate General of Hungary in Uzhgorod, – the museum reported.
The exhibition opens at 17.00.
