So what will they paint in Uzhgorod? (PHOTOS)

Today, October 15, in Uzhgorod, at the International "Alarm Graffiti Festival", masters from four countries have begun creating the first mural in the city, the UNN reports.

More than 50 street artists from Ukraine, Poland, Slovakia and the UK take part in the festival. The walls of the Transcarpathian Regional Palace of Children and Youth Creativity "PADIYUN" have become canvas for the artists.

The Deputy Director of the "PADIYUN" Galina Penderetska defined the feature of the current art assignment: "The subject of the artworks is dialogues, and they are directly related to the building of the palace, which in 2016 turns 70. Inside, we have a kind of indoor mural – an installation on the subject of children’s creativity. Our wish for the festival participants was to try to make a link between the 1986 indoor image and the artists’ own vision and thoughts on the dialogue of generations. Our masters of street art have come to us from three countries and different regions of Ukraine – Lviv, Donetsk, Kyiv, Odesa, Sumy and other regions" – G. Penderetska added.

Already tomorrow, October 16, Uzhgorod residents and visitors will be able to see the final paintings of this year’s "Alarm Graffiti Festival", including the first mural in Uzhgorod.
