We recall the winter of 2016, that we met with abundant snow, which decorated Uzhgorod and brought our children lots of joy.
There was also no lack of traditional festivals: the wine festival in Mukachevo, festival of carols in the museum, and the festival on St. Basil Day in Uzhgorod.
The one-hundred-meter-long flag carried by Uzhgorod residents on the streets of the city on the Day of Unification showed that the patriotism of Transcarpathians is not just for show.
And the compassion expressed by them in connection with the tragedy, which resulted in the death of the Hungarian children, showed that our souls and hearts are open…
The beginning of February brought the thaw in the mountains and more trouble to our people…
And the Open Door Day, which was arranged by the 15th Battalion of the 128th Brigade at its station in Uzhgorod, awoke in future soldiers a real interest in military profession!
And then, in February, at the end of the winter, it was snowing again in Uzhgorod! Winter, as usual, did not want to go away. But spring was already close!
