“Smart Museum” will open in Transcarpathia

 On Monday, November 18, at 12:30, the presentation of the Smart Museum project will be held in the Knight Hall of Mukachevo Castle Palanok (departure from Uzhgorod at 11:30). 
"Smart Museum – Modern Forms of Cultural Heritage Presentation" is aimed at attracting residents and guests of target regions to study culture and history in a modern, interactive format. Two years are allocated for the implementation of interesting and meaningful events involving the Mukachevo History Museum (Palanok Castle) and five other museums in Slovakia and Hungary. Restoration works, research, creation of new exhibitions using modern digital solutions and technologies, training and exchange of experience, interactive animation and local history lessons for children in game form and much more.

Yevgeniy Luksha – Chairman of the NGO "Uzhgorod – XXI Century" Association, Smart Museum project manager; 
Mykhailo Belekanych – director of the Mukachevo History Museum; 
Kseniya Okhotnyk – coordinator of the Smart Museum project; 
Natalia Likholyot – Regional Representative of the Hungary-Slovakia-Romania-Ukraine-EIS TCS Program 2014 – 2020 in Transcarpathian region; 
Representatives of partner organizations from Hungary and Slovakia. 
  
Information: 
The project is being implemented by an international consortium of partner organizations from Ukraine, Slovakia and Hungary led by the NGO "Uzhgorod-XXI Century" Association, with the support of the European Union within the framework of the Cross-border Cooperation Program of the European Neighborhood Instrument "Hungary-Slovakia-Romania-Ukraine 2014-2020." Project partners: Mukachevo History Museum (Palanok Castle), Kosice Autonomous Region and Kosice Regional Development Agency in Slovakia, as well as the Herman Otto Museum (the city of Miskolc) and the Office of the Fuser Castle in Hungary.
