Transcarpathians, who were seriously injured during military service in the ATO area, will undergo a two-week rehabilitation in Zemplínska Šírava in Slovakia, the Depo.Zakarpattya reports citing the Holos Karpat.
This was reported by a volunteer of Mukachevo military hospital Oksana Reminets. The trip was made possible through the collaboration of the Ministry of Defense, volunteers, unions of ATO participants with the General Consul of the Slovak Republic in Uzhgorod Janka Burianova.
"Finally, we have sent for rehabilitation the first Transcarpathian group of our heroes. All the guys suffered super heavy wounds or became disabled while performing military duty in the ATO area. On December 5, the second group of our defenders will go to Slovakia. It is not formed yet. I should also note that about a hundred soldiers from different parts of Ukraine have already undergone rehabilitation under this program," – Oksana Reminets said.
Also volunteer said that currently the Transcarpathians have got to Zemplínska Šírava and settled in the new place. There, at the "Granite" center, qualified specialists will be taking care of our defenders.
