Slovak partners will advise Transcarpathians how to enter the Euromarket

Today, on September 21 in Uzhgorod the first working meeting of the partners of the project "Creating a healthy business environment through the development of investment opportunities" was held. Project partners are the Chamber of Commerce of the city of Trencin in Slovakia and Transcarpathian agency for investment, innovation and development.

It was attended by Jan Vaclav- head of the Chamber of Commerce of Trencin, Martin Plshko – Representative of the Chamber of Commerce of the Slovak Republic, Oleksandr Shkurla – First Secretary of the Consulate General of Slovakia in Uzhgorod, head of investment projects of Transcarpathian Investment Agency Matviy Kadar and manager of that agency Mykhailo Nahorkin.

 Welcoming the participants of the meeting on behalf of the regional council chairman Ivan Baloga manager of the executive council staff Mykhailo Popovich briefed on cooperation projects between local communities of Transcarpathia and Slovakia, the progress of their implementations within partnership and neighborhood relations. They help our communities to share experiences and implement European standards in real life, as well as to bring together the communities, strengthen their friendship.

 Finally M.Popovych wished the project participants fruitful work and new quality changes and to achieve an EU level of business and welfare of citizens.

Speakers informed about SlovakAid program and presented the aim and objectives of the project.

– This is a transfer of knowledge on the subject of how Ukrainian businesses with their goods can enter the Euromarket. They will be trained by experts, who are initiated into legal norms of EU and Ukraine – said Jan Vaclav and added: – Seminars, exhibitions will help to identify problems that hinder entrepreneurs’ business, to find solutions and to know each other’s capabilities.

 It was noted that over the next 18 months there will be conducted trainings for Ukrainian companies and experts on the rules of trade with the EU. Particular attention will be paid to preferential access to the EU single market. The project will ensure participation of Ukrainian businessmen in thematic exhibitions in Slovakia and other EU countries. Similar events will be held for representatives of Slovak businesses interested in trade with Ukraine. During the project, the materials that inform about the conditions of entering the foreign market will be prepared.

 Meanwhile, the needs of the parties will be studied, and from the next year the practical implementation of project activities and exchange visits will begin.
