“Silpo” does not care about law ot common decency (PHOTOS)

The media often raise the issue of comfortable and unobstructed environment for people with disabilities and note that not much has been done in Uzhgorod for that. And if the government in some ways try to make moving in the city for such people easier, businesses do not care about this issue at all. And some simply ignore the rights of people with disabilities.

One of such incident was reported on Facebook by Uzhgorod resident Vasylyna Marko:

"The store "Silpo" on General Svoboda street. Parking spaces for people with disabilities are blocked. The administrator Oksana commented: "This is our territory, we need it to unload goods. We don’t care about laws. We will later allot space for you elsewhere, and now we need it for our vehicles."

Mrs. Vasylyna is a person with a disability, who is very sensitive to violations of such people’s rights. So she asked the Human Rights Office of the National Police of Ukraine Tetyana Trylyo and Yuriy Martsenyshyn to intervene and stop this lawlessness.
