The miracle has not happened. The debris on Cyril and Methodius square, that has been "decorating" an area in front of the department store "Ukraina" for more than a week, is still there.
The surrounding area is still dotted with pieces of paper and cigarette butts, boxes and rags… People walking the square pretend not to notice this terrible mess.
And the debris is still "begging" to be thrown in the trash bin. Judging by the amount of garbage in the area, there are not enough of them in Uzhgorod.
Therefore, "caring" citizens try to hide garbage with fruit boxes, behind trees and kiosks.
But hope, as you know, is the last to go. Therefore, we hope that responsible authorities will finally start cleaning the territory.
