On the night of Friday (18.03), employees of the "K" Department of the central office of the Security Service of Ukraine, during a special operations, conducted unexpected inspection of the cars that had entered Ukraine from Hungary through the checkpoint "Tisa" in Chop. This was is reported by the press service of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration.
The inspection concerned detection of contraband in vehicles that had just passed customs and border control. During the raid, no fact of illegal transportation of goods was revealed, Hennadiy Moskal said.
He also said that a few weeks before, the Transcarpathian customs office was inspected by the National Anti-Corruption Bureau, the inspection is over, but so far no detentions or arrests any complaints about the customs office have been reported by the NAB.
In this regard, Moskal advised those, who constantly complain about the corruption at the Transcarpathian customs office, to report all facts of corruption to the Security Service and the NAB.
