School buses and green tariffs. What did the deputies of the Transcarpathian Regional Council appealed to Kyiv about?

The first plenary meeting of the 12th session of the Transcarpathian Regional Council took place today.

In addition to a number of working decisions, in particular, amendments to the regional budget and a number of existing programs in the area of ​​social welfare, drinking water, development of education, culture, traditions of minorities of the region, etc., they also approved appeals to the supreme bodies of state power.

They decided to send a petition on the following issues: legislative ban on the import of certain types of polymers into Ukraine and the sale of polyethylene bags; the need for amendments to the National Target Program "Drinking Water of Ukraine" for 2011 – 2020; transportation of ​​gravel products to the region by railway; change of the status of highways in the region; equipment of commercial gas metering units with means of remote data transmission; regulation of some issues of fuel wood export; the immediate financing of damaged dams; transfer of bridge girders that are managed of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine from the state ownership; adoption of anti-oligarchic package of radical transformations; allocation of additional funds for the purchase of school buses for mountain areas; setting of "green" tariffs for electric energy produced from solid domestic wastes.
