Saved by neighbors: a man nearly died in a fire in Mukachevo (PHOTOS)

The incident happened today, September 1, in Mukachevo, on Wallenberg Street.

The incident was reported by the victim’s neighbors who also shared photos from the scene.

According to the neighbors, they saw the smoke, and immediately called rescuers and an ambulance. The man inside the burning apartment could not move on his own, which is what made him so helpless in this situation.

The neighbors still managed to get to the victim before the arrival of paramedics. The man was unconscious but alive. He is currently hospitalized and rescuers are still working at the scene.
