On the New Year’s Eve, the center of Perechyn was traditionally festively decorated. On the central square, near the Christmas tree, decorated with yellow and blue ribbons, there stood Santa Claus, Snowman, Fairy-tale Cabin, and winter lights and colorful garlands around them, the Perechyn City Council informed. However, a few days after the opening of the Christmas tree, as if in a fairy tale, "evil forces" at first stole Santa Claus and then vandalized Snowman.
