Residents of the “rebellious” park appealed to parliamentary committees

"Based on the assembly of the residents of the "rebellious" park, it was decided to appeal to the Committees of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.
At the same time, residents through their representative presented the first copy of the appeal to the deputy from "UDAR" Valery Patskan as the first recipient.
Other copies were sent today to other active members of the community in the Parliament – human rights activist Vitaliy Gregor reported. 
The community of Uzhgorod demand the following:
– To consider in the Committees of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine the information on illegal building in the park between the apartment buildings at Dostoevsky st., 2 and Hodynka st. 8 in Uzhgorod and to return the ownership of the above land to the local community.
– To request the Prosecutor of the Transcarpathian Region, the Office of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Transcarpathian region, State Agriculture Inspectorate of Transcarpathian region, the Head of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration, Uzhgorod mayor to take personal control over the progress of the case.  
– To control all recipients (the Mayor, Uzhgorod, City Prosecutor, Uzhgorod city council members) referred to above in our collective appeal dd. 09.09.2013 in terms of fulfillment of the demands to restore the violated rights and interests.
Meetings of the Committees of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, where, in particular, they should consider these appeals, will begin on Wednesday, September 18, 2013, at 15:00.
Valery Patskan has already responded and sent appropriate requests to the authorities."

Крім того, як повідомив Віталій Грегор, рішенням зборів мешканців було вирішено звернутися до "регіональних" представників та їх безпосереднього очільника за партійнійною лінією – Миколи Азарова, з проханням надати інформацію щодо позиції депутатів Ужгородської міської ради від ПР при голосуванні 20 вересня 2013 року щодо питань забудови їх єдиного скверу.
