To celebrate the 25th anniversary of Independence of Ukraine and the State Flag Day of Ukraine, a series of events are scheduled in Tyachiv and other settlements of the district.
The main purpose of the celebration of the national holidays is the unification of the Ukrainian people for strengthening and development of their country, protection of its sovereignty and territorial integrity, strengthening of patriotism and honoring fighters for Ukraine’s independence from all generations.
On Tuesday, August 23 at 11:00, on Nezalezhnist Square in front of the district state administration, there will be a ceremony of raising the National Flag of Ukraine.
Then, a solemn march and laying of flowers at the monument to the Heroes of the Heaven Hundred and the monument to Taras Shevchenko will be held in Tyachiv. Then, at 12:00, the participants will join a nationwide minute of silence for the victims in the struggle for the independence of Ukraine.
At the same time, the district holiday of embroidered towel, drawing on the pavement, patriotic flash mob will be held in front of the district house of culture.
On the same day, at 12:00, in the district house of culture, there will be a solemn meeting devoted to the Independence Day of Ukraine with the participation of the district officials, local authorities, representatives of NGOs, volunteers and participants of the ATO.
On Wednesday, August 24, at L. Byiresh stadium in Tyachiv, the biggest sports event of the district will be held – the competition with the participation of teams of district services, institutions and organizations.
We invite representatives of local governments, NGOs, district services and organizations together with their families to participate in the events to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Ukraine’s Independence and the Day of the National Flag of Ukraine.
