Rescuers told about the aftermath of the night storm in Transcarpathia (PHOTOS)

Strong gusts of wind and precipitations, that occurred in Transcarpathian region, caused damage to the region in the form of fallen trees, smashed cars and black-outs.

As of 07:00 on July 25, according to preliminary data, 8 settlements were disconnected from electricity supply partially, and 30 – in full. In particular: Uzhgorod district (5 partially and 5 fully); Mukachevo district (1 partially and 12 fully); Mizhhirya district (1 partially and 1 fully); Rakhiv district (1 fully); Volovets district (7 fully); Perechyn district (1 fully); Irshava district (1 fully); Khust district – 1 partially the city of Khust and 2 fully.

Also, on the night of July 24th-25th, strong wind gusts caused the fall of trees, in two cases the trees fell on vehicles.

Units of the Rescue Service were taking measures to eliminate the consequences of the fall of trees.  

Thus, on July 24, at 23:10, a tree fell on the carriageway on Uzhgorodska Street in the city of  Perechyn. Nobody was killed or injured. And at 23:30, a tree fell on the carriageway in the village of Turyi Remety in Perechyn district.    

Three trees fell in the regional center. Two of them damaged vehicles.

At 23:15 due to the fall of a tree on the roadway in the city of Uzhgorod on Borodin street, a car VAZ 2106 was damaged.

Also, at 23:15, due the fall of a tree on the carriageway in the city of Uzhgorod on Peremoha Street, a car "Daewoo Lanos" was damaged.  

At 23:40, a tree fell on the carriageway in the regional center (bypass road). 

In the village of of Kolchyno, Mukachevo district, at 23:50, a tree also fell on the carriageway of the international highway Kyiv-Chop.  

Nobody was killed and injured in any case.
