Rescuers reported about fallen trees in Uzhgorod and district

The State Emergencies Services Office in Transcarpathian region reported about the consequences of yesterday’s weather. Because of the heavy storm, a lot of trees fell.

Rescuers informed: due to rains and squally wind, that took place in the region on June 23, several trees fell in Uzhgorod and Uzhgorod district:

– at 9:40, the village of Tyihlash, Uzhgorod district – a tree fell on the roadway, rescue department of the Special Rescue Unit was engaged;

– at 17:08, the city of Uzhgorod, Narodna Square – a tree fell on the roadway, rescue department of the Special Rescue Unit was engaged;

– at 17:40, the city of Uzhgorod, Sobranetska Street – a tree fell on the roadway, a crew of the 15th State Fire and Rescue Unit of Uzhgorod was engaged;

– at 17:45, the city of Uzhgorod, Vuzka Street – a tree fell on the roadway, a crew of the 14th State Fire and Rescue Unit of Uzhgorod was engaged;

– at 19:58, the village of Rativtsi, S. Petofi Street – a tree fell on a house, rescue department of the Special Rescue Unit and a crew of the 15th State Fire and Rescue Unit of Uzhgorod was engaged. In total, 2 vehicles and 10 rescue workers.

– at 21:10, the city of Uzhgorod, Hrushevsky Street – a tree fell on the roadway, a crew of the 14th State Fire and Rescue Unit of Uzhgorod was engaged;

– at 4:24, the city of Uzhgorod, Mytna Street – a tree fell on the roadway, a crew of the 15th State Fire and Rescue Unit of Uzhgorod was engaged.
