Representatives of the “Batkivshchyna” claim that they have not received Lunchenko’s statement of resignation

It still remains a mystery to whom the People’s Deputy of Ukraine and the "governor" Valeriy Lunchenko filed his statement of resignation. A month ago, the part-time deputy reported that he has time for registration of the statement of resignation in the parliamentary service until April 6. This was not done, as our publication has already reported. On Monday, at the press conference Lunchenko said that "the statement was written about two weeks ago. It is in the Parliament, with the Secretariat of the "Batkivshchyna" faction. 

  This week, a reporter of uzhgorod.in appealed to the secretariat of the "Batkivshchyna" faction in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine asking whether MP Valeriy Lunchenko had submitted the statement of resignation. The Head of the Secretariat of the faction Olga Bodnar-Petrovska answered, "The faction does not take part in the decision-making process on that issue and therefore it is not within the scope of the faction secretariat. MPs of Ukraine shall submit their statements through the relevant services of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine."

Recall if Lunchenko does not determine who he is – deputy or governor, the Right Sector is ready to even block the RSA.
