Rakhiv dictrict has become a set for the film "Dovbush" directed by Oles Sanin, and the valley Vurda, Vorozhyska, the Hereshaska Lake, located on the Svydovets Range, have become the main locations for the shooting of this long-awaited film. This was announced on Facebook by Yuriy Sas.
For the shooting, a Hutsul cheese dairy was built in the Vurda valley, and Hutsul buildings – on the Hereshaska Lake. Also, local shepherds are involved in the shooting.
It is very pleasant that the bulk of this movie is being filmed in Rakhiv district and in the village of Chorna Tysa, as it is documented that the folk hero Oleksa Dovbush spent the last two years of his life in Yasinya and the camp, where Dovbush’s gang would gather in spring, was located on the Mount Stih in the village of Luhy in Rakhiv district on the border of three states.
Recall that more than 15 film producers and directors from Ukraine and abroad gathered in Uzhgorod today. Together, they discussed the potential of the region for shooting of new projects here.
