October 3rd, explosive experts group of the special rescue unit of the State Emergencies Service of Ukraine Office in Transcarpathian region made a trip to Beregovo district. According to preliminary information, a local resident, while picking mushrooms, found in the forest between the settlements of V. Byihan and Kosyno an object similar to explosive items.
Upon arrival at the site, explosive experts identified the findings, they were 63 rocket explosives of 132 mm caliber made in USSR. Also, rescuers carried out the inspection of the adjacent territory, during which another artillery shell of 152 mm caliber was found.
Then all the dangerous items were transported to the military range near the village of Orikhovytsia in Uzhgorod district, where they were destroyed.
