At a press conference on May 20, President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that urban and suburban transport in Ukraine would start running on May 22, and kindergartens would open on May 25.
"As for transport, kindergartens, we expected that it would be at a later stage. We understand that today the statistics are good. Statistics allow us to lift some restrictions earlier. For example, today, the government will consider the issue, and urban and suburban transport will start working on May 22. We can’t permit transport between regions yet, because only 6 regions are ready for it.
Kindergartens will receive all instructions from the Ministry of Health on the safety measures and will start working on Monday," – Zelensky said.
