Under the procedural control of the Beregovo Local Prosecutor’s Office, the investigating department of the Beregovo police charged a 57-year-old resident of the village of Batyevo, Beregovo district, with molesting of a young girl.
According to the head of the Beregovo Local Prosecutor’s Office Volodymyr Zhilkin, the man was detained in accordance with Art. 208 of the CCP of Ukraine and taken into custody.
The prosecutor’s office will request to impose on her a pre-trial restraint in the form of detention without the right to be released on bail.
The circumstances of the case:
It has been established that in the evening on July 24, 2019, the suspect, being in a state of intoxication, deliberately lured into his apartment a 7-year-old girl who was playing in the yard of an apartment building.
Taking advantage of her trust and helplessness, the suspect began to molest the girl and eventually let her go when she began to cry.
