On May 28, in the Transcarpathian Regional Academic Puppet Theater, there will be the premiere of a new play "Magic Words" directed by Honored Artist of Ukraine Natalia Oryeshnikova with a young talented illustrator of children’s books Olena Buhrenkova making her debut as set designer.
Transcarpathian puppeteers together with Kharkiv playwright Vadym Dovletov, the author of the play "Magic Words" will prove that words are material. And if you are friendly and welcoming, then you will be treated accordingly. In fairy tales, the most unbelievable events happen, however, they somehow correspond to common life realities. And the way out of difficult fairy tale situations sometimes lies on the surface and is visible to the naked eye… but not for everyone.
The main role of Ivanko (the puppet for which was made by puppet designer Vyacheslav Osavalchuk) is played by the leading actor Mykola Karpenko, starring – Honored Artist of Ukraine Ella Grigorieva and a young gifted actress Yaroslava Yanyk. Light designer – Irina Osokina, sound engineer – Vasyl Dzhuhan.
The play is designed for children of preschool and primary school age.
The shows start traditionally at 11.00 and at 13.00.
