Tuesday, May 28, deterioration of weather conditions is expected in the western regions of Ukraine, a storm warning has been announced, the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center reported. "On May 28, in the western regions, there will be storms, in some places – hail, in Transcarpathia and in the Carpathians, heavy rains (I, yellow level of danger)," – the report said.
Recall that due to heavy rains, in Transcarpathia, dozens of residential buildings, 241 households and almost 2 thousand hectares of farmland were flooded. Two people were killed.Earlier, the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky signed a decree on urgent measures for disaster relief in certain areas of Transcarpathian and Ivano-Frankivsk regions.
