Poroshenko will take part in events at the Krasne Pole on the anniversary of the Carpathian Ukraine

On March 15, the President Petro Poroshenko will come to Transcarpathia on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the Carpathian Ukraine.

The event, which will be attended by the President, will take place in the memorial park "Krasne Pole" near the village of Rokosovo in Khust district. It was made to commemorate the battle between the units of the Carpathian Ukraine and Hungary, which historians compare with the feat of the Kruty heroes.

According to the order of the head of the Transcarpathian RSA Hennadiy Moskal, who headed the election headquarters of Poroshenko in Transcarpathia, March 15, 2019 is recommended to make a day off. Therefore, government agencies in Transcarpathia will not work on Friday, March 15.

Most likely, Poroshenko will symbolically arrive to Uzhgorod on board of the first Kyiv-Uzhgorod flight, which will signify a long-awaited reopening of the Uzhgorod airport.

However, just in case, utility companies are already actively repairing the road "Mukachevo-Khust".

The detailed program of Petro Poroshenko’s visit to Transcarpathia has not been announced yet.
