Officers of Rakhiv district police identified the driver of an unregistered motorcycle, who had ran into two women with a baby in the city of Rakhiv. It was a 17-year-old resident of Rakhiv. The investigation into the matter is ongoing, the motorcycle was taken to the police impound lot, the site of the police informs.
Law enforcers have identified the driver of the motorcycle, who committed the accident on the evening of August 8 in the city of Rakhiv on Bogdan Khmelnitsky street. A 25-year-old mother with a baby and another 48-year-old woman, their relative, suffered as a result of the accident. Fortunately, there were no serious injuries.
The driver left an unregistered "SABUR" motorcycle at the scene of the accident and fled. He has already been found.
Law enforcers found out that the driver of the unregistered motorcycle was a 17-year-old resident of Rakhiv. The young man confessed to the crime.
The investigation into the accident was initiated under Part 1 of Article 286 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (Violation of the rules of traffic safety). Investigators are establishing the circumstances of the accident.
