On the night of 10 to 11 July, a crew of Uzhgorod patrol police noticed that the driver of a Volkswagen Passat was moving without enabling headlights. The policeman stopped the car. While talking with the driver, they noticed signs of intoxication.
The driver was asked to take a test for alcohol content in the blood. But as soon as the policemen mentioned the test, the 50-year-old driver pressed the gas pedal and tried to escaped. The policemen caught and blocked the car. Appropriate adiministrative reports were made against the driver for violation of traffic rules, refusal to take the test for alcohol content and disobedience.
While talking with the police, the driver showed a prosecutor’s card. Please note that laws and traffic regulations are binding for all. Patrol policemen make no exceptions and treat all citizens the same. After all, the principle of legality is the basis of the policemen’s work. Remember about the responsibility!
