Uzhgorod Mayor Victor Pogorelov, by his decree "On the next draft for compulsory military service in April-May 2015", recommended the city police chief to create at Uzhgorod Military Commissariat the task force to ensure timely arrival of called up persons to assembly point and to ensure search, detention delivery to the military commissariat of the persons who evade military service.
Overall, the conscript campaign in the city will last throughout April and May. They will call up to the military service male citizens of Ukraine, who have turned 20 prior to the date of dispatch to military umits, and older persons under 27, who are not eligible for exemption from or deferment of conscription for military service.
The city conscript commission will be headed by the Deputy Mayor Volodymyr Flenko.
