As uzhgorod.in previously reported, at today’s session of the city council it was revealed that the City Council Secretary Victor Shchadey is dismissed.
Also the Deputy Mayor Victor Trykur took leave with the subsequent resignation. This was the reason for closing the session.
As Mayor Pogorelov explained, Victor Shchadey’s application for leave together with Unites Center fraction’s rejection alerted the Party of Regions who suspected that some
foul play was involved. They took a break, consulted and decided to extend the break for a few days to sort everything out.
Political nuances did not allowed deputies to consider other issues, including the preparation of the city for the winter. And after the session, Pogorelov said that it is preparing for winter, that is now most important for him.
