Photos of the aftermath of the attack on Chop border guards in the ATO area (PHOTOS)

As reported, October 10, in Donetsk region, near Dokuchayevsk, a group of border guards was fired at by terrorists from small arms.

"The border guards opened fire in response, the militants suffered losses and were forced to flee. During this battle, the Ukrainian soldiers also suffered a loss – one border guard was killed”, – the National Security Council IAC spokesman Andriy Lysenko reported.

Later it became known that the victim was major Victor Shenpental from Svalyava. Yesterday, October 14, the officer was buried in Svalyava.

Also five border guards were wounded (it is known that one of them is from Mukachevo, and another one is from Lavky). Young soldier from Mukachevo Robert Kis (born in 1990) died in the intensive care unit of the hospital in Volnovakha from serious injury in the stomach.

We also know that one captain from "Knyahynya" was wounded in the shoulder.

Today, the Western regional office of the State Border Service of Ukraine published the photos of the tragic aftermath of the attack.
