Performance for adults (ANNOUNCEMENT)

On June 5, in the Transcarpathian Regional Philharmonic, there will be an unusual concert featuring guests from sunny Italy – a talented young composer and pianist Rosella Spinoza and conductor Pasquale Veleno. On our stage, Rosella Spinoza will present her own music to the silent film Der Golem, wie er in die Welt kam. It is a horror film of the German expressionism era based on the Jewish legend of Golem, a clay statue that came alive under the influence of magic.

The chamber orchestra of the Transcarpathian Regional Philharmonic (headed by Honored Artist of Ukraine Vladislav Yurosh) will play the music. The piano part will be performed by Rosella Spinoza, conductor – Pasquale Veleno. By the way, the author of the idea and co-organizer of this project is the famous Lviv violinist Ostap Shutko. He will introduce the guests from Italy and will host the program. Given the genre of the film to be shown, the concert is not recommended for children under the age of 12. The rest, we think, will be interested in such an original performance. The beginning is at 18.30.

 To note:

Rosella Spinoza graduated from J. Verdi Conservatory in Milan, she studied composing, piano, harpsichord, electronic music. She composes chamber and opera pieces that are performed on the main stages of the USA, Italy, Spain, Australia, Japan, Poland, Ukraine, etc.The composer has written soundtracks for more than 80 old silent films and received positive feedback from listeners and music critics.

Pasquale Veleno is a well-known Italian conductor, pianist and director. He has worked with many orchestras in Italy and other countries of the world. He also teaches, conducts seminars and master classes.
