People with disabilities took part in the khodoton march (PHOTO, VIDEO)

"Way of Life" on the roads of Uzhgorod. 

Patients of the rehabilitation center for people with disabilities and the regional center of the complex rehabilitation of disabled people marched accompanied by the orchestra in the solemn procession, which took place on Nezalezhnist embankment. 

Members of these organizations hold khodoton marches twice a year, on occasion of different holidays. This time the occasion for marching together to the city center was the celebration of the Children’s Day.

The participants, who took part in the march, had come from seven cities of Transcarpathia.  The organizers claim that with such events for people with disabilities they bring the society closer to people with disabilities and vice versa.
