People’s deputies from Transcarpathia suggest to amend the law on state fee payments

On May 12, people’s deputies of Ukraine Ivan Baloha and Vasyl Petyovka registered in the Parliament a draft law on amendments to the Budget Code of Ukraine regarding changes to crediting of state fee.

To date, the state fee is the source of revenues to general funds of local budgets.

The largest share (about 70%) in the total amount of state fees accounts for revenues for issuance of passports that are paid at the place of issuance, and thus are accumulated only in certain local budgets. The vast majority of village and town budgets of the region do not receive this type of revenue.

Every year our, the region receives about 15 million of fees for passport issuance.  Currently, the fee is paid at the place of issuance – at the migration service offices. In those districts of Transcarpathia, where there are no branches of the service, local budgets do not receive this fee.

MPs from Transcarpathia suggest the state fee to be credited to local budgets at the place of registration of individuals and legal entities, instead of the place of issuance of documents.
