Party of Regions propose to unite Transcarpathia with Galicia

The current system of administrative-territorial division and the executive power requires radical restructuring, member of the Party of Regions faction in the Verkhovna Rada Serhiy Hrynevetsky wrote in an article for the "ZN. Ukraine".

In particular, he believes that we should prepare for the implementation of fundamental territorial reform, which will result in eight powerful territorial-administrative units instead of 24 small regions.

One of them – the Carpathian region – should be formed of Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk, Chernivtsi and Transcarpathian regions.
