Over the past 24 hours, in Transcarpathia, 90 patients with COVID-19 have recovered, another 21 have fallen ill (OFFICIALLY)

As informed by the website of the city of Uzhgorod, according to the Transcarpathian Regional Center for Public Health, since the beginning of the pandemic, 1257 have been diagnosed with COVID-19 in Transcarpathia.

"During the past day, June 3, 344 people sought emergency medical care, 13 of them had symptoms of acute pneumonia, 11 were suspected of having COVID-19" – the director of the Health Department of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration Yelizaveta Birov said.

413 samples of biological materials for polymerase chain reaction (PCR) testing were collected.

21 persons were diagnosed with COVID-19, 3 of them are medical workers.

Overall, as of 9:00 am on June 4, 2020, 1257 patients have been diagnosed with COVID-19. Of those, 285 are health care workers and 79 are children. 13525 polymerase chain reaction tests have been carried out. 524 patients have recovered.  

No fatalities among patients with COVID-19 have been reported in the past 24 hours.
