April 6 about 22:00 on the road "Mukachevo – Rohatyn" near the village of Lalovo in Mukachevo district, traffic inspectors recorded traffic violation in the from of speeding by the driver of a "Mercedes Vito". At the policemen’s legitimate request to stop, the driver just added speed and went on.
After a while, during the further patrolling, the inspectors found this car in a ditch with punctured tires.In the car there was the driver and four passengers. Seeing the police officers, the driver and passengers got out of the car. Unexpectedly for the inspectors they started swearing and attacked the police officers tearing their uniform amd inflicting bodily injuries.
The back-up immediately arrived at the scene. All offenders were taken to the police station. According to experts, the men were in a state of intoxication.
This fact was entered into the Unified registry of pre-trial investigations. The men will be tried for resistance to law enforcement officials. The vehicle is placed on the impound lot.
