Organ music will be heard again (Announcement)

The main event of autumn in the Transcarpathian Regional Philharmonic will be the VII International Youth Festival of Organ Music. For nearly two weeks, a series of concerts featuring local and visiting soloists and orchestral groups will be taking place in the main concert hall of the region.  The history of this creative forum is associated with the name of unforgettable Natalia Vysich – Honored Artist of Ukraine, winner of many national and international competitions, soloist organist of the Transcarpathian Regional Philharmonic. Launched in 2008, it immediately took its cultural niche as perhaps the only similar event for young artists in Ukraine. Paying tribute to that great cause initiated by our favorite soloist, and to honor her blessed memory, the event organizers this year decided to name the International Youth Festival of Organ Music after Natalia Vysich.

So, on September 13, at 17.00, the Transcarpathian Regional Philharmonic Society invites you to the opening of the VII International Youth Festival of Organ Music named after Natalia Vysich. The soloist of Dnipropetrovsk House of Organ and Chamber Music, Honored Artist of Ukraine Nadiya Yuriychuk (organ) will perform an exquisite program for Uzhgorod residents and guests. The Chamber Orchestra Transcarpathian Regional Philharmonic Society (director – Honored Artist of Ukraine Vladyslav YUROSH) will also take part in the concert. Music lovers will hear escerpts from the opera "Carmen" by G.Bizet-E.Limeyer "Cantabile" by J.Rheiberger, "Organ Symphony" by ME Bossi, Fantasy G major and Concerto for organ and orchestra in D minor by JS Bach. The event will be hosted by the music historian Natalia PITSUR.
