From 20 to 30 of April, the 5th international festival "Music Without Borders" will be taking place in the Transcarpathian Regional Philharmonic. During the event, Uzhgorod residents and guests will have the opportunity to attend five unique concerts. Traditionally, the best creative forces of the Philharmonic, as well as interesting performers and collectives from other parts of Ukraine and abroad will take part in the festival.
In particular, on April 20, a native of Transcarpathia, known opera singer Georgina von Benza (soprano, Italy) will perform at the opening of the festival. "Gala Lirika Opera italiana" is the title of the program which will be presented by the opera diva. Accompanied by the symphony orchestra of the Transcarpathian Regional Philharmonic, the singer will perform arias and excerpts from operas by Verdi, Catalani, Giordano, Puccini, Mascagni. The conductor – Marco De Prosperis (Italy). The Honored Academic Tramscarpathian Folk Choir will also participate in the concert. The concert starts at 18.30.
