November 18th, 2012, the citywide campaign "Free Uzhgorod tours" was launched.
Starting from the 18th of November, every Sunday in Uzhgorod all visitors could learn more about the history and architecture of their city.
Throughout the year, excursions were conducted by experienced specialists from the Department of Tourism and the Department of History of Ukraine of Uzhgorod National University, community leaders, professional guides, "Tourinform Transcarpathia" reports.
Every Sunday, at 14.00, people gathered on Teatralna Square, near the monument to Mikolajczyk, and the work never stopped, despite the weather, holidays and weekends.
This time, the 52nd, jubilee tour on "Uzhgorod curiosities" was conducted by the vice-rector of UzhNU Fedir Sandor.
As the organizers promised, the tours will continue – so we expect pleasant surprises!
